If the world embraced ubuntu at it’s core, we would have no war, famine, poverty or destruction to our earth. We would navigate conflict with more efficiency and productivity, which could lead us to more collaboration and sustainable peace. Ubuntu allows no room for judgment or division.
Rather than our current obsession with monetary gain and feeding the ego, ubuntu positions relationships and spirituality as the center of society. Practicing ubuntu allows us to experience what the Taoist call “wu wei”, which means to enter into a state of flow with the Source and balance between humanness and the higher self.
Ubuntu values relationships over all else in the world. Our connection and interaction with other humans is the center of every thought, belief, action or inaction. It teaches us to respond deliberately, rather than to react belligerently. Ubuntu employs copious amounts of patience.
